Womens Equality Day Word Search

The Nineteenth Amendment was certified on August 26, 1920, barring any state from denying the vote on account of sex. Congress set that date aside as Women's Equality Day in 1973, after a resolution from Representative Bella Abzug of New York. The same date in 1970 brought the Women's Strike for Equality, which filled Fifth Avenue and pushed pay and legal standing to the front of the argument.
