Left Handers Day Word Search
Roughly one person in ten writes with the left hand, and August 13 is set aside to notice what that means day to day. Dean Campbell of Lefthanders International first marked the date in 1976, hoping to draw attention to scissors, notebooks and other tools built for the other side. Left handers turn up far more often than expected in boxing and in baseball, where an unfamiliar angle counts as an advantage.
