Flag Day Word Search
Flag Day marks June 14, 1777, the date the Continental Congress settled on stars and stripes for the flag of the new country. Woodrow Wilson issued a proclamation for the observance in 1916, and Harry Truman signed it into law in 1949. The fifty star design has been flying since 1960, making it the longest serving version so far.
