Bastille Day Word Search
Every July 14, France marks the storming of the Bastille, the Paris fortress and prison that fell to a crowd in 1789. Only seven inmates were held there at the time, but the building stood for royal power and its fall became the signal event of the revolution. The day now opens with a military review on the Champs Elysees and closes with fireworks near the Eiffel Tower.
